Nice pictures! Wish they were a tad larger, though... Anyways, good job!

Hello, my question is: after you had travel with pro-level camaras and lens, have you see that the lens have sufered damage for the bike vibration or something like that??

Thanks!!

Hi,

Thanks for the friendly reactions.

Almost all of the photos were made with old Canon A1’s + 28mm, 50mm and 70-205mm lenses. When a camera began to wear out, it wasn’t difficult to find an undamaged used Canon A1. We carry our camera equipment in a handlebar bag and have never had serious camera/lens problems in spite of the road vibrations while bicycling (knock on wood!). We used to use Kodak Elite Chrome 100 since it always gave good results under varied light conditions. Just recently we have bought a new digital camera; the Nikon D70. We are now busy testing this camera, so we can’t really say how it performs during a bicycle trip. At least in the future we won’t have to carry all of those film rolls!

Happy travels,
Paul & Grace

Neat stuff guys!

Don´t let others poopooh your work!

On the internet we can see billions of pictures with an exotic backdrop made by globetrotting cyclists.

Despite the fact that some are nicely made, most do not integrate a personal aspect in a conclusive way.
They are merely nice pics from exotic places - not much to it, since there is so much of that kind around.

Withe Grace in red on the other hand, your pics do have this personal note.

It´s a different approach and I like it !

I'm looking at that website, and there is a lot of pictures without cyclists smile

Anyway I agree, the 'Cycling Landscapes' are original as they are, with the cyclist. I like them and their colors very much!
