I can not join you now (just back from a world tour) but you might try to ask around in Tabriz as there is a large cycling scene there. For the rest I only met one Iranian cyclist (Ali) as cycling is not so popular in Iran.

But why don`t you just cycle alone? Iran is perfectly safe (except near the Pakistan border) and everybody is very friendly (at least to foreigners ).
